Your Profile Page
Your Profile Page is the first one that you see when you click "You" in the Main Menu. It's also the page that other see when they click on your Profile Image in other places on CAGD.
Your Bio is a way to introduce yourself to people on CAGD who don't already know you. It's a way to quickly give some idea of what you're all about, what you're interested in, and the sort of things that you do. It's not something that should be static -- done once when you first join us and then never changed -- but rather something that you should return to regularly and change to reflect the current nature of your practice.
It's located at the top of your Profile page. Use the lined area to write a short piece of text about yourself, and what you're interested in at the moment, and use the Save button to save it when done.
Writing a Bio. Notice the blue text and save icon, indicating that this needs to be saved.
You can include links, images and videos here, in the same way that you would do so in a Journal post -- by pasting the URL or embed code in and pressing the Return key.
Your Profile Picture is the one that appears next to everything you do on CAGD, and larger at the top of your profile page. To change it, click on the little camera button next to it and choose a picture (JPEG or PNG) of your from your computer. Sometimes it might take a little while for the change to be reflected, or it might take a few page refreshes.
The Profile Picture Upload button.
CAGD will crop the image to a square, so you might want to crop it yourself before you upload to make sure it looks as you intend it to.
There are a couple of other links on your Profile page sometimes, depending on who you are. There will usually be a link to a list of the Modules that you're taking (or running), and staff will sometimes have a link to a list of their Tutorial Groups.
